disp+work.exe

Hi all,

disp+work.exe process is running 33 times in the task manager. Is there something wrong and also the system is very slow now .Is it becoz of that?

Not if you have 33 work processes. System slow can have any reason. How many work processes have you configured? See TA SM50.

total work process = 25

DIA = 14

UPD = 2

BGD = 5

SPO = 2

UP2 = 2

And there is only one sap instance on the server? For each instance there should be 1 process for dispatcher and N processes for work processes so in your environment it is:

25 work processes + 1 dispatcher = 26 disp+work

if you have more than there is probably more than one instance on the server, check it...

mmmh. You should then see only 26 (=25 WP plus dispatcher) as processes. Is there any other SAP software running on that physical server? If not, can you reboot?

1. shutdown

2. check task manager -> if you still see some/all of these process reboot OS if there is nothing else running, then they hang or it is a sign that something else is running on the host

3. startup

4. check task manager
