What I have met is that I set the item category to "B"(item type). When this item has been partial delivery, the sales order status showing completed.
You could check the item type. But I don't know how to deal with it.

Hi,rish,
I dont think it's a configuration problem. I advise u to check whether the item was rejected. If there is only one item of an order and the item is rejected, the status of this order would be "completed".
Hope that will help you.
regards,
Joey

hello, friend.
in addition to what the others have said, please check your customer master, particularly in the Sales Area Data > Shipping tab. look at the partial deliveries. there may have been settings that tell the system if a delivery has been created with reference to the sales order, the order will be completed even if the quantity is only partially delivered. if the entry in the 'partial delivery per item' field is 'B', then this will explain your situation.
this can also be manually set in the sales order, so you have to take a look at the order as well, at item level.
regards.

Hi
Please check the field under/over delivery tolerence in the delivery document line item why because if we set it to 50%(over delivery status)
system will show the status it is completed
Thanks & Regards,
mahesh

Rish,
The completion rule in the item category is used to determine when the item is deemed to be complete. Check the entry against your item category and choose the appropriate value. Whenever you wish to utilize these rules you must ensure the "update document flow" indicator in the copy control is set.

hi rishi,
this appears to be a deviation the way standard sap works... not sure why, unless there is any specific customization done. However just to make sure, if you an other client on the landscape do the same and see and you might get the correct result indicating some standard has been changed to cause this behaviour.
