Hi
what is the purpose of the table VBEP and what is a schedule line
In SAP system, Schedule Line reflects the confirmed Delivery date, before which ideally system will not allow to create the delivery. This is the main relevance od schedule line.
Others have already explained the relation of Table VBEP & Schedule line.

Hi venkatesh
what prashanth said is right
VBEP table is for sales doc schedule lines.
the purpose of this table is VBEP table linked to VBEH(schedule line history) table. the same VBEP table is linked to VBAP table (sales document item )
this VBEH tells when the delivey should take place and other history will be decided. that is the reason VBEP table is linked to VBEH
VBAP table tells which line item it is in the sales order.as for separate line items there could be separate delivery dates. and material availability dates , loading dates
that is the reason VBEP is linked to VBEH and VBAP

hi,
Table VBEP contains the Schedule line details of the sales order.
Schedule line contains the confirmed quantity to be delivered and the delivery date.
