Hai Guru,s
In which business senario orderand billing different pricing procedure?
Can anybody please...........
Thank u for helping........
Hi anjenayulu
generally in the sales order and at the billing the pricing procedure will be same. but in some scenarios it will be different like
1) in inter company billing you will be having separate pricing at order level and billing level
2) generally in business scenarios, if you have created a sales order on 30.03.2008 and billing is happening on 02.04.2008. and on that date there is a change in price of the material. then you will be carrying out a new price at billing level , by changing the pricing type for those orders.
3) Even in Stock transport order also , different pricing at sales order level and billing level
4) even in MTO scenario also most of the time it happens as profitability analysis should take place. and because of that price varies . so price can be changed at order level or billing level also depending upon the scenario
Reward points if useful

Dear Anjaneyulu,
you can have different pricing procedure at order and at billing in these senerios,
1.When there is Stock Transport order with Inter company biling.
2.In the third party scenario if the price changes happen than mentioned in the sales order.
3.When you want enter the fright charges manually at billing.
4.Some times in the Make to order senerio prices will be changed after production at that time we need to enter price at billing level.
I hope it will help you
Regards,
Murali.
