Can any one give me a real time scenario when SNP Optimizer, Heuristic and CTM are implied.
Thanks!
here is the link that explains the difference in planning methods

This is a good guide to look at but the decision to use the right method would depend on the client and the business you are working with and involves not just the solution but also other factors such as maintainance and ablity to sustain and ramp up the solution post implementation
Not able to give you real scencarions due to leagal reasons but there should be a few examples in the SNP training course material and in the IDES scenarios. Also some good books you can see recommentded in this forum would be able to guide you better

Please check following details are useful for you or not!!!
SNP Optimizer Technical Features:
-Primal and duel simplex method.
-Decomposition techniques
- Time mixed bucket size (daily, then weekly, and monthly)
- Product groups
- Location
Decomposed problems are linked through constraints.
- Penalties
-Non-delivery and lateness
- Costs
- Production normal and overcapacity, also economies of scale
- Procurement
- Transport mode and product specific, overcapacity
- Storage normal and overcapacity
- Handling
- Safety stock
Capable to Match :
Iterative heuristic approach demand elements are prioritized, supply elements categorized and demands are matched with supplies using a search strategy.
Priorities:
Source 1 then 2
Supply Cat 2 then 1
then Production
Considers production and purchase orders fixed.
Transportation scheduling options
- store at target location
- do not store at target location
- transport orders individually
- consolidate shipments
