I had a newbie question on sales orders and determining materials. When a sales order is sent via EDI or other method the partner uses a product code (upc etc..) that will not match the R/3 material number, where does the system do this mapping and where is it stored? Is the process of material determination related to this or is that strictly for substitution purposes?
