NWDI Template Installer fails

Former Member

Hi

We have installed a dual stack SR2 system and patched to SPS15. When we run the DI template installer, it gives an error "Message with name [DIMasterPwdPolicyCheckMsg] does not exist [concat('. ',/getPasswordPolicyErrorTextOutput/Return/text()) ]"

We have seen the note 1145663 and so did all group creation and assignment manually and skipped these steps.

However when we get to Upload Default ACLS this step fails with unauthorized and trying to manually assign the ACLs listed in on SAP Help is very unclear. The document says there should be a View Permissions in the context menu however I don't see any of this. I have checked in the DTR Perspective in Developer Studio and tried to look in the /dtr URL.

Has anybody has this problem and how have they resolved it.

Thanks

You need to activate the DTR Admin plugin to get the View Permissions (and some other) option(s) in the NWDS. This procedure is also described in SAP Help. You need to rename it's plugin.xml from plugin.xml.disabled.

Hi

Thanks Pascal - activated the DTR Admin plugin and was able to update ACL permissions.

For information - reply from SAP is that Template Installer is buggy with a dual stack install. We were on SPS15 which is the latest. All configuation therefore has to be done manually.

SAP were working on a fix for this.

thanks for the assistance
