Hi,
We have a system SRM 4.0, Oracle 9.2 in HP with 10,5 of RAM. If the number of work processes are 26, how can I distribute the ram memory between sap and oracle?. And then, the other question is, for sap, where do I configurate the amount of memory dedicated to sap?
Thanks
Thanks Markus for your help,
I will apply your advices especially about the percentage dedicated to the database.
Best Regards

In the "early days", one said, that the amount of memory dedicated for the database should be at least 10 % of the database size.
You can go for 40 % database and 60 % SAP, or 30/70 or even more, depending on your workload. The "best size" for your system should be checked by an Early Watch.
The memory for SAP is configured using profile parameters (see ST02).
