Hi Everybody,
i am not sure which sap version i had to download in order to install sap on linux. I have installed VMware with Suse Linux Enterprise Server 10. Now i need the sap nw software. Therefore i found the following software:
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial Version on Linux - VMware Edition
Is this the right software and how can i install this version with my current vmware SLES 10 installation? I don't understand the meaning of VMware Editon. What does it mean?
regards,
seed

The VMWare Edition is an image, that you just "play" with the VMware. No need to install anything. It´s basically the "harddisk" with SLES 10 + Netweaver 7.0 installed.

Hi,
thank you for the information, but i want to install the sap software by myself. Is this possible and where can i get the sap nw software for SLES 10? The only software i found is:
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) - Trial Version on Linux For 64-Bit Linux Version for x86_64 but I have only a 32-Bit Linux version (SLES 10) could this be a problem?
regards,
sharam
