default storage locations

While taking UD, in stock posting, default storage locations are shown for different stock postings like for unrestricted use ST01, for blok stock BL01 etc.

So where this default values of storage locations are maintained?

Hi,

The storage location maintained in material master in MRP 2 view (Production Storage Location for inhouse produced material & Storage Location for External Procurement [EP] for procured material) will be used as default for stock posting.

Hi,

For "Stor loc for reserves " we can set the default values under "Insp lot completion tab" of Plant dependent qm settings in IMG settings.

hi

i think it will pick up using your busines transaction ie while you are receiving material for PO then it will be defaulted in inspection lot whereas if the inspection lot is generated from process order then it will pick from process order, for QC reserves it picks from the IMG settings
