Using Java certificate

Hi all,

I need to configure a scenario RFC -> XI -> Web service. These webservices are on a Java based server which require a certificate for authenticity. I have been provided with certificate file.

Can any body please suggest me how to configure SOAP adapter to use this certificate while invoking webservices from the server?

Thanks and best regards,

Kulwant Singh

Hi! If your doubt is how to sign and encrypt messages, go through SAP Insider (http://www.sapinsideronline.com/) "Ensure the Confidentiality of Your SOAP Message Content") paper

Have a look at the "Connection Parameters" here. U have to use the "Configure Certificate Authentication" option in the SOAP receiver communication channel. See this

Hi Prateek,

Thanks for the information. I couldn't see your reply on friday becoz of weekend.

I had a look at the link that you gave. I can see that but while configuring SOAP adaptor as receiever, i cannot see any option to configure the Certifcate in the Adapter settings. Is there any diff or the option is not avaialable in XI 3.0?

Thanks and best regards,

Kulwant
