hi,

In initialization routine we define the perform routine and the input and output of the perfrom.

For that perform we write Form Routines Under Form routinesTAB.

In Initialization tab, We define the data declration part or a structure.

And it also has input and output parameters.

Intialization is similar to the initlization even in Report Programming.In additio u can add your select statements if any or other logics here.

This had Input and Output parameters.

Please not that i you change or assign value to fields it had to be then added in output parameters or it will not reflect in the smartform.
