Platform : ECC 6.0 + Oracle 10g + Windows 2003 Cluster

I've defined the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time to the standard value (600 ms). But after that, some programs like SAPMS380 or RN1LLDIA, doens't cancelled after over this time.

Thank's in advanced

Hello Fransesc,

I am sorry got your question the wrong way.

First of all these 2 reports cannot be executed directly as they are not of type E.

Anyways you see rdisp/max_wprun_time works in the following manner. If a program has got executed for the value defined in the parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time then SAP gives it another chance for completion for same amount of time. If that time is also not sufficient then dump will occur.

Hello,

What Ruchit says is true and also SAP can only interrupt the program when it is running abap. When the abap is waiting for a very very long SQL request to finish, a program can last several hours with a time out of 600 seconds.

Most importantly this parameter is relevant for dialog processing and not background processing.

Hi Francesc,

Please run the programs in background mode.

The problem is that this program (for example), after 600sec are not cancelled by time_out and continues running in tr sm50.
