dowloading documents

Hi,

I want to dowlaod sol manager documents (BPP etc) to my local desktop. How can I download more than one document at a time. I select more than one document, the system says to select one document. this takes time.

pls note i just want to take a copy of BPP etc to my local desktop and i do not want to check out the document.

Hi Sonu,

I had a similar request from a Project about 2 yrs back and the unfortunate answer is that - there is no straight-forward way to do this.

As you may be aware, the way documents are stored in KW goes by it's own logic and there are limitations. Even a ABAP way to do this isn't easy.

May I suggest you to check the following, though I haven't done it myself:

(1) SPRO

(2) SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide -> SAP Solution Manager -> Configuration -> Scenario-Specific Settings -> Cross-scenario Settings -> Document Management -> Display Solution Manager Documet from External Application

(3) Having done this, try to access it from whatever is connected and see if 'mass' download is feasible.

I am sorry if this whole workaround seems not viable.
