Hi,
we have 2 sap servers (named server1 and server2) and server1 have a connection to a external fax-server. On this server is the "sap connect (SCOT)"-interface defined (fax will be send from server1 to the fax-server).
Now we would like to send fax from server2 (is not connected to the fax-server) to server1, which routes the fax to the fax-server.
Is that possible? Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
Hello Michael,
Not possible through standard I guess but you can write code in both the systems. Send fax as a normal document may be via an idoc or something to server 1 and then remotely execute a function module that would send the document for faxing.

Hi Michael,
If server1 and server2 are 2 completely different systems they need SCOT to be configured individually...
As far as i'm aware you can't forward SCOT requests from one system to another one.
