Archiving of documents by PS archiving

Hello experts!

We are planning to use archiving object PS_PROJECT to archive. In sapnote 310907 it is told that document assignments within PS are archive too.

Does this mean that e.g. WBS assigned PDF, DOC etc. are archived with PS_PROJECT? And how can I access those archived documents later on?

Not sure if I will be able to answer query completely.

But below are few inputs:

Archiving process contains the below phases:

1. Creating archive file - Archived files of data are created

2. Remove archived data from database - Deleting files from the Database

3. Transferring archived files to location outside SAP DB -Save the archived files at a different location other than the SAP database

T code used during archiving:

SAP Archive Administration (SARA)

SAP Archive Information System (SARI)

For phase 1 functional consultant help is required to convey the objects etc., and the rest would be basis activity.

SARI will help you in the retrieval process. As said earlier, basis guys can give right inputs here.

Unfortunately this is not answering my question. Sorry, I try again to be more clear:

For example we have a WBS element (in CJ20N). If you go to "Services for object" you can attach an document, let's say a pdf file. The document is stored in table SOFFCONT1.

Now we archive the project by archiving object PS_PROJECT.

The archiving has been successfully sent to IXOS and the SAP tables are cleared.

Is the link to my document archived too?

How can I access the document?
