creating client

hello basis consultants,

i am a abap consultant, i installed sap R/3, but i could not able to create 800 client.

can any one explain the steps of creating client 800.

Hi vinesh,

and dont forget to reset the parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar" to 1 after copied new client.

log on to client 000 with sap_all rights (but not as sap* user)

start transaction SCC4 and create there required client

ensure that profile parameter (trans RZ10) login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to 0 (important - because if it is set to 1 sap* user in new client will be not created).

log on to the newly created client as sap* user with password pass

run transaction SCCL and perform client copy from source client 000
