hi Irfan,

just to add, whenever a sales order line item quantity cant be confirmed for the customer requested delivery date depending on availability check settings and lead times the sytem would propose multiple dates for delivery ie more than one schedule line date. so when you do delivery, you would for those partial quantities at different dates. hope it answers your query.

Hi,

Maybe the reason behind two schedule line be that on the customer requested date, the material availability is not fulfilled, so

one date would be showing you the customer requested date, on which the complete quantity of goods might not be available.

second date woule be the date on which complete quantities of goods are available for delivery.

so just see if partial delivery is allowed for that customer in customer master or customer material master.

if thats the case then confirmed the available quantity on the customer requested date while deliver the rest on the material availability date.

When the system couldn't confirm the quantities for the Requested Delivery Date specified in the sales order, it confirms the quantities in more than one schedule lines. The quantity the system can confirm on the Requested delivery date will be specified in the first schedule line and in the other schedule lines the quantities that can be confirmed with delivery dates.

This is bcoz ur material is not avaliable on the requested delivery date.

The 1st date is the req. delivery date

2nd one is the confrimed delivery date.

U frst need to make the material avaliable so as to confirm it on the requested delivery date.

But you will have only one schedule line with confirmed quantity. So you can make the delivery on the schedule line date with confirmed quantity.
