To view characteristics value in sales order

In sales order,I'm not able to see characteristics value for particular fert material by clicking on item details tab for configuration.

But same characteristics i can see in MRP03 view in material master for that material.

what are setting to do to view characteristics value in sales order?

When you go to the Config Profile (CU43), what are all your settings from the Confign Parameters Tab? When you click on the Item Details Screen for Configuration, what do you see on the Screen?

Hi Mike,

by clicking item detail for configuration ,system showing message (Message no. C1809)as "Required characteristic 'Operator Type' was excluded".Asking again to assgin to characteristics value for it.

But in mm03 (MRP3)for same material it shows all its characteristics values without above message.

dear Sanjay,

Goto CU41. And in the config profile of the material concerned, BOM explosion indicator should be on single level or multilevel. I suspect in your case it is on 'None'.

Change the setting and check the result.

Come back if required.
