changing sales group assignments

Hi,

I was experimenting with changing assigments of 2 sales groups to another sales office and I expected an open sales order to be locked if I changed the assignment. This interestingly never happened. I mean when I change the assignment do I need to update the sales documents and the associated customer masters. Am I right? or am I missing something.

When you say pricing conditions do you mean condition records?

I know but can anyone specificaly tell me what changes? or things might be affected. You mentioned pricing and is there anything else?

Reports also might get affected which needs reports based on sales Group.

Sales Group assignemnet will not affect the sales Order. Only changes to Sales Area will affect it. Few Pricing Conditions and Discount conditions might get affected if the sales Group is used as a field in any pricing condition tables.
