Backend Budget Avaliability Check in SC?

Does Shopping cart item checks budget avaliability for a project created in backend?

Hi,

Only if the WBS/Project budget availability check is activated in backend, you will have the check whenever the followon documents are created.

If you have Funds Management integrated then you will have more challenges in implementation on FICO side.

Hi All,

Thank You for your answers.

I think i should be more clear on my question:

We created a PROJECT in PS module, this has WBS element.

This project is controlled by BUDGET.

Now when i create a shopping cart for the said WBS element does this CHECKS wether budget is avaliable in backend system????

Only if the Internal Order/WBS Element has Availability Check Active in the Back end system.

Yes this is standard SRM functionality, all the FI validations from ECC will be happen in SRM.
