Hi All,

What is BDC ? How is it used in SAP. Pls explain in laymans language.

Dear Tatvam

We can say that Batch Data Communication (BDC) is a process made SAP to SAP whereas, Legacy System Migration Tool Workbench (LSMW) is a Non-SAP to SAP communication TOOL.

Also BDC is used for small volumes of data, while LSMW is for medium volume data, bulk updation of any datas.
