CST Reduced from 3 % to 2 %

Dear All,

Govt. of India has reduced CST Percentage from 3 % to 2 %. Same we have to implement at our client site.

What will be the ideal solution to resolve this issue?

If Tax procedure: TAXINJ

--> Update Tax Code with new CST rate alternatively create new Tax Code.

If Tax procedure: TAXINN

--> Maintain Condition Record (VK11 / VK12) & update new CST rate.

Dear Ratish,

Here you have to change the values of the condition types which are used for CST . There are two in SAP . One JCST and JIVC. Try to mass change these condition type from 3 to 2. You can either change or again create new condition records for new validity for record.
