Field mapping using EDI implementation guide

HI,

I am working on EDI related project. I am asked to prepare functional specs for EDI 855 using Implementation guide.

Please give your inputs for the same.

Hi,

If u want to prepare Field mapping docuemnt u need to use implementation guide effectively.

Take one reference mapping docuemnt and most of standard header detals (ISA/GS ...) will be same as your any other reference mapping docuemnt of ur subsystem.

Make sure all madatory fileds from implementaion guide are mapped compulsory and generate one idoc from SAP and make sure of all segments and fields to be mapped to EDI segments and fields..

If you have one IDoc reference then only it will be easy for you to generate the mapping document..
