Profitability segment -missing in sales order

Hi,

Can anybody guide,

A sales order could not be saved because profitability segment field was not filled .

The error was thrown in incompletion log.

Where from profitability segment is fetched up in the sales order?

Where in and which master data(Customer,material) profitability field is maintained?

Customer was not assigned to company code.

Hi,

It must be populated by default. Check in KEA0 if the led status is green for your operating concern.

For settings in incompletion log check the note 114520.

Hi,

Check field VBAP-PAOBJNR, surely is empty.

Check tcode KEQ3 (IMG for CO-PA, or in tcode ORKE read the documentation, surely you have fields empties)

Hi,

I want profitability seg. field should be determined by default/automatically while creating sales order.

we need not fill it everytime we create a new sales order.

Is there any setting for the same in SAP so that this field should not appear in incompletion log?
