availability check

hi gurus,

here i have a scenerio,that the client wants to see the availabilty check automatically for a material when we put a sale order even if the stock for the order is available.

which is similar to that of availability check in case of stock not availble.

is it possible?

hello, friend.

did you mean that even if a material is not available, you wish that the order quantity can still be confirmed?

if so, you can specify replenishment, procurement or production lead times in the material master (MRP views). having done this, even if the material is not in stock, the sales order can still confirm availability in, say, 7 days time if your lead times total 7 days.
