No Availability in delivery

the client wants availability chk only at delivery and not at sales order level ....plsss let me knw if that is possible

Yes.. Its possible to switch off availabilty check at sales order....

For this you need to do is uncheck the availabilty check field in the schedule line category...

Try this, in transaction OVZ9

Remove checking rule 'A' SD order assignment to the Availability check group '01' or '02' or your group.

Maintain the Checking rule 'B' SD delivery assignment to the Availability check group '01' or '02' your group.

Hello Maddy,

Technically it is possible to switch off availability check at the sales order level and switch it on at the delivery level.

Path: SPRO- SD - Basic functions - Availability check - Define procedure for each schedule line category.

Under this option you can remove ticks for the check box availability check. further go to VOV6 and remove tick for availability check as well.

For availability check at the delivery level -

Determine procedure for each delivery item category and allow for the availability check to be carried out.

Note:

Though it is technically possible............this will have a serious impact on the regular sales cycle. Availability check is carried out to confirm the requested delivery date at the sales order level. if you deactivate the availability check at sales order level........you will not be able to confirm the quantity at the order level. Further requirements will be transferred to MRP without checking the available quanity in stock.

Other wise you can activate availability check both at sales order and at delivery level as well..............which is a best option.
