External source systems

Hello Gurus,

Please let me know how do we extract data from external source system to BI.as from R/3 to BW some extraction methods are available,do we have any such methods?can we do deltas from external source systems,can anyone tell me what are the external source systems for BI which are frequently used other than R/3.

Hi,

Extractors are there to extract the data for BI.

By using the Business Contents we can extact the data ..

which can be available in four way,s

1 business content in BW

2 Application specific data source in R/3

3 Generic Extractions etc.
