Hi All,

Actually i am not able to open the ID(Integration Directory) and IR(Integration Repository ) component. Whenever i try to open it after specifying the user name and passsword it simply gets hanged and then there is no response from the server.

Can anybody help me in resolving the same.

Good answers will be rewarded with good points.

regards,

virender

Hi Virender,

Access your server using Internet Explorer.

Type url: http://server:port/rep

On that page please check 'Client Installation Guidelines'. See whether that helps?

Hi,

I have tried but still it hangs to open any page from the URL. Could you suggest why it is not giving any response when i check RFC destination HTTP connection through SM59. Other connection for the TCP/IP and R/3 connection are working fine.

Thanks

Hi!!!

Try this: remove all your cached IR & ID jar files from Java Web Start. There could be a problem with files versions.

Andrzej

you need to run the java webstart console thingy.

If you are on windows: Start -> Run "javaws.exe"

From here you can delete the cached versions.

As for your problem, hard to know without error messages. But most problems I have run into have been an incorrect version of WebStart or an issue with proxy server config. If it is proxy you can set it in Edit->Preferences->Network Settings of the javaws console.

Also have you looked at the configuration in Administration?

see http://<server>:50000/rep/start/webstart_installation.jsp

and

http://<server>:50000/rep/support/admin/index.html -> Java Web Start Administration

Hi

i am still facing the same problem.

As you told to delete the cached versions.

These are the steps I have followed:

1. Start java web start

2.go to file->preferences->java

3. click on find

4. Here we search for the *.jar files

5. we find the product location with different version on the same location http://java.sun.com/products/autodl/j2se

we installed the 1.4.2_05 version of java but here some versions are differnt.

so if we delete the another version files from here. what the impact will be.

i have dissable other version through java web start and tried to login on Integration Builder but the problem remains same. As soon we enter the password it hangs.

Pls try to help us out.

Hi Virender

Clearing the cache means, file --> preference --> Advanced --> Clear Folder.

Try it and hope it helps.

At this point, did you try restarting the server ? Sometimes this solves the problems, if not check the logs.

Is the OS windows / unix based ?

Hi Virender

The vis admin stops at 99% if you try connecting to it using the wrong port. So check the port number.
