cProjects to PS integration

Hi

I have been working on cProjects to PS integration for client server which runs on ECC6. Both cProjects and SAP objects are on the same server.

I have done required configuration settings for the scenario, also for CO scenario maintenance view determination for my project type I have selected Multilevel controlling (Structure Element, Automatic), but still PS project from cProjects is not getting created.

Is there anything am I missing ????

Hi Niraj,

Have you make the assingnment of project type and object type.

In c project configuration.

e.g

Project type --> It Project Object type --> single object controling on WBS Frames --> Frame 9

--> please insure that you have activate account integration for that project type.

--> You are using same project type for while creating the project in c project.

--> OFIN_INT_ERP_PS (Object type)

-->CL_R3_OLR3_PROJECTDEFINATION (Proxy class)

STILL FACE THE PROBLEM PLEASE REPLY WITH ERROR .

Thanks for your reply.

Project type and its object type settings are same as you have mentioned.

For Object type 0FIN_INT_ERP_PS in Object Types for Object Links in SPRO, the proxy class is maintained is CL_DPR_OLR3_WBSELEMENT instead CL_R3_OLR3_PROJECTDEFINATION as mentioned by you.

and proxy class setting I am unable to change as it is in grey mode. Does it requires to change ? if so how can I change the same ?

Hi Niraj,

-->spro

-->Collrabration project

-->Connection to External system

-->Account integration

-->define object link for account integration

In that page you will find two object type on right side table

one for WBS elemet and another for internal order

select: 0FIN_INT_ERP_PS

Then double click on Name of classes inSAP (letf hand side dialog structure)

then change the proxy class and try again to replicate the project .

Also check project type details wether you have activated Accounting integration scenario if please activte

Hi Sunil,

I have done the setting of Object type as you have said.

Account Integration has been activated for the Project type.

But still PS Project is not getting created from cProjects in Accounting Tab in Account Assignment in cProjects.

Also I am getting message when I click on Costing Tab in Accounting :

"Internal error: Calling costing leads to exception "

Any help ?

Which costing variant use use in create change controlling Scenario .

PS06 or PC02

For multilevel controlling usr PS06.

Hi Sunil,

Costing variant earlier was PC02 which I changed to PS06.

But still I am unable to see PS project created from cProjects.

I was going through one SAP note # 977951, which says that..

The PS projects are created with the CPR0001 project profile.

Can you help me where this profile is maintained ?

Also I am getting error message :

Internal error: Calling costing leads to exception

Any help on this also ???

Hi Niraj ,

You want to create

The PS projects are created with the CPR0001 project profile

then go to

SPRO->Project Systems-> Structures-->Operative Structures-> Work Breakdown structure ---> Create Project Profile ( T.CODE : OPSA )

I want information from you

In C project accounting tab you will get the buttons calculate and account assingnment

Hi Sunil,

Project profile CPR0001is maintained in the transaction you have mentioned, my question was how the PS project will automatically created from cProjects??? Where you mention the project profile to create PS project ?

On Accouting Tab I am unable to see PS project created from cProjects automatically.

If you can send your email ID I can send you the screen shots of my error.

Hi Niraj,

I checked your documet all config will correct just use following path

It important to define a project number which fits the customizing seetings of project edition mask in project

Step : Spro --> project system -->Structure -->oprative structures --> work break down structure --> @ Define project coding mask

In that check the aviaable project Number

The following characters are available for editing:

X for alphanumeric characters

0 for numeric characters

special characters to organize the project numbers

e.g Project coding key : SUN

Coding Mask :-000-00-00

Then you define the project defination as : SUN-100-01-00

When you define project number in c project use this mask code ( check which mask code are define in your system and use that)

and same will be created in your PS with same as project defination

Created a Project in cProjects using coding mask defined in PS but still unable to create project in PS from cProjects.

Have sent you the screen shots for the same.

and do the same procedure show in sim file scenario-II

and check .

I have follwed the same method as shown in the Sim -II, but still not able to see Project created in cProjects.

Also Now getting costing Error message as :

"Costing data may not be up-to-date"

Issue resolved.

following changes reverted:

For Accounting Integration:

For Object type : 0FIN_INT_ERP_PS

Proxy class changed to CL_DPR_OLR3_WBSELEMENT

For Controlling scenario following changes doe :

Costing variant changed to PC02

Functioanl Area field made empty Earlier it was 400.

For Settlement profile 20, settlement to a profitability segment changed to : Settlement optional from Settlement not required.

Now I can see the PS projecte created from cProjects project.

Are you getting complete project structure fromcProjects such as project defintion, WBSE, network etc or only one WBSE. Please let me know.
