Hi
I have Installed ECC6-IDES on server and it was successful
but the problem is if after adding a parameter in RZ10 we need
to restart the Server...So when I try to stop all the tasks (i.e)
DEV-->(Rightclick)All tasks --->stop
then it is asking for password .....No probs I entered the same
password which I gave during Installation ..*here the Problem*
*is Coming the system is saying START FAILED ;INVALID*
*CREDENTIALS*.So this is the main problem which i am
facing .Also I can Restart the server forcefully Which I dont
want tooo..Any one who knows very well this problem plz do
suggest a solution.

The same password is applicable which u have given at the time of stopping the SAP Box.

Hai,
Give same credentials,which you logged into the OS level.
If you login as administrator,then when you stop the SAP,it will prompts you to give the password for the same userid.
Check the userid and give the password accordingly.

U can use the password ,what u r given for administrator in OS level know , the same will be applicable to <SID> adm
if u have changed means give that changed one.
Dont confuse with the SAP passwords & the OS passwords

The password is the password for SIDADM (OS).
Not the password for SAP that you gave during installation.
