Hello,
I currently can not delete or return limit item confirmation in my SRM system.
I work on SRM5.0 in extended classic scenario.
I can create a limit item shopping cart and even confirm it in the system. However once confirmed I go to the "Process/Display Confirmation transaction and enter the Limit item confirmation.
Here, nothing can be done, all buttons are greyed out whereas the confirmation status is not in error but : "Posted to Backend".
Why I can not delete or return my confirmation?
Please help!
Thanks in advance.

Limit items are a special type of Service Items. As the business, the service confirmed will have to cancelled with the Option 'Cancel Service Entry' and not by the usual way of cancelling the confirmation of the goods item.
Return Delivery makes meaning only in terms of the Goods item, whereby you send the goods back.
Service cancellation can be done from SRM also by going to 'Central Receiving' - > 'Cancel Service Entry';
In my case we have done customizing to request for cancellation/deletion of service entry in the backend system through a RFC function module. This RFC function module in R3 populates the BDC table and do a call transcation to ML81N and revoke/delete the acceptance.
Please reward points if useful.

Hi,
For Limit items you can not do a "Return delivery" since being service orders. which is standard behaviour.
If you want to delete the confirmation for LIMIT items. Delete them in R/3.
Trnx: ML81n (ECC/R/3)
Hope this helps.
Cheers, Renga
