FREQUENCY OF MSGS

Hi all,

I hav requirement so that

The XI system retrieves the file stored by the Cognos Data Manager in the file server at a pre-defined frequency of 24 Hours. The job will be scheduled to run daily at 03:00 EET (01:00 GMT).and The Sunday uploads will be scheduled at 04:00 GMT.please let me know how to configure it.

Hi there,

In CC monitoring ---Availability Time you can set your CC timings....but i am not sure about requirement as it is asking for two different timings in different days..

Check the blog I gave..It would help you to configure your communication channel so that it polls at the certain period(interval) you want

I dont get your question..the re is frequency of messages and your question is how to configure the file adapter to pick up at a certain time every day..

Could you please clarify..

You might want to take a look at availability time planning on RWB for scheduling..

Depending on your system version, you can schedule the adapters/communication channels.
