duplicated emails being sent out inerp system

we have just patched our SRM production system and all of a sudden our ERP system is sending out duplicated email confirmations regarding purchase orders rasied from shopping carts in our SRM system.

Some of the emails are from orders raised months ago.

Any ideas

Hi Mike,

Kind of strange but we used to face such issues after system copies. But I guess since both the involved systems are production system copy may not be the cause. Or what if the mails are being sent by some other system which has been copied recently. What any other activitiy other than support pack import done ?
