Create inspection lot for inbound delivery

Hi,

Please let me know how to create an inspection lot against an inbound delivery.

Process should be :-

Schedulling agreement --> inbound delivery --> inspection lot --> usage decision --> goods receipt.

PPT was good but doesnot solves the purpose of creating inspection lot when creating the inbound delivery.

Wouldn't this just be a standard 01 inspectoin?

Hi,

Actually I have read that inspection lot is created against inbound delivery only with the use of HUM, where goods movement takes place.

But do not know the process. How it is done ?

The process required is to create inspection lot as soon as inbound delivery is created with respect to the PO or Scheduling agreement. ( i.e., before goods receipt is done by MIGO w.r.t inbound delivery)

Please guide me the steps...

Source inspection is created against purchase order and not inbound delivery. I want to create inspection lot against inbound delivery (but before goods receipt)

Can you explain what the inbound delivery is for? I have only seen these for customer returns.

Where is the shipment coming from?
