Could not start Layout Designer

Hi Experts,

In SFP Transaction,

I am getting the Popup Error 'Could not start Layout Designer', When I press Layout Tabstrip button.

In my PC I have installed Adobe Life Cycle Designer ES 8.1 and SAP GUI 710.

I am accessing through VPN.

Please tell me how to solve the problem ?.

Hi,

There might be some DLL problem at the time of installation of ALD(Adobe live cycle designer).

Reinstall ALD and try it out.

I was also suspecting the same so I have reinstalled the Adobe Life Cycle Designer and also SAP GUI 710.

Till I am getting the same problem.

Hi,

As per the note 1121176 Adobe LiveCycle designer 8.0 is supported for SAP GUI 710.

I believe ALD version 8.1 is still not compatible with the GUI version.

Please install ALD 8.0 instead. Refer to the note 1121176 for installing ALD 8.0 version.

I have Downloaded from the Market place and Installed Adobe Life Cycle designer 8.0 in my PC.

Now Working fine.
