In tcode VL02N,after i enter the deliv. no.,in menu option "EXTRAS", when i click on "serial numbers",in the pop-up window which appears,I want to disable the "Create serial number automatically".How do i go about it.

Hi;

If you want to deactivate serial no. from particular materials; you can remove serial no. profile form material master as well.

No it is not serving the purpose. The button is still active.my aim is that i should not be able to assign the serial no.
