The approver role is only valid the next day

All the approvers which are created are only valid the next day. Requesters can only select the new approvers the day after they have been created.

Any idea how to make an approver valid the same day?

Geoffroy,

Are you using org replication, if not then run HRALXSYNC once the users are added. Also check ur users_gen is already executed (in case of CUA).

Let me know is you need more information..

Hi,

In user validity make sure you are entering the next day as the valid from. If you have already integrated the user, the validity of the user will be good from the next day.

In the integreation of user, use the position validity and restrict via date.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Renga

I'm not entering a validity date.

But even if I enter today's date in SU01, I can't select the approver, because he is only going to be valid from tomorrow.

Hi Rakesh,

I don't use CUA at the moment. So should I run HRALXSYNC to have a valid approver on the date of creation?

Hi,

Can you test with this step ?

1. Create a approver as valid today

2. Execute SWU_OBUF transaction

3. Requester selects approver

Thank you. SWU_OBUF synchronize runtime buffer is perfect!

Hi,

What do you see in the validity period for the user in trasn SU01??Try to change the validity period for the Approver user created in Su01 and then try whether the approver is valid .
