FCX - Routing Guide and Year to date quantity

Hello all.

I need some help to understand the Routing Guide within SAP FCX add on. We are using this add on for quite some time.

Question I have: How does the routing guide calculates the Year to date Quantity ?

This filed is part of each routing guide records ( /SAPRGX/KOND2-YTD_QTY ).

I have some evidence that the counter isn't working correctly. Therefore I would like to understand the logic behind the calculation.
