Split CI and DB for BW

Hello Everyone,

We are looking to install BW 3.5 and would like to split the CI and DB so that the CI runs on Linux and the DB runs on HP-UX. Has anyone installed such a split system (not necessarily between Linux/HP-UX, but in general) and if so are there any "gotchas"?

Not that I know about. Some customer do this, but please check if this really is supported (if you care for).
