CIF- work center problem

Hi,

I am trying to CIF work center from ECC6.0 to APO 5.0.

CFM1 is successful and but CFM2 transaction is failed..got error "No entry in external location mapping talbe for location"

Can anyone throw some light on this issue?

I am able to CIF Material master successfully.

Hi Vipul,

In addition to what Samir said, this error normally occurs when the location relevant to the Resource is not present in APO. To correct it activate the locations Integration model first and then try activating workcenter model.

Vipul,

you can just check following things also

1) Go to APO transaction /sapapo/cq and from log try to get the location and resource name.

2)Use R/3 transaction SE16 and table CRHD to find the resource details. Enter the resource number that is mentioned within the CIF queue name in the Capacity ID" (field KAPID) cell and execute. Only 1 result should be returned and from double clicking this line the resource name and location can be found.

3)Go to the resource (CRC3) and check the factory calendar id mentioned in each of the capacity headers.

4)Then return to APO and go to resource master data (/SAPAPO/RES01), enter the transaction for any location and drop down the calendar cell to see if the R/3 calendars have been maintained.

Check if your change transfer of master data looks like this.

Material Master Change Transfer 2

Change Transfer for Customers 2

Change Transfer for Vendors 2

Or which type of data transfer did you choose for master data.

Resource specific settings for the SPRO look like this,

Use Ext. Capacity X

Change Transf. Mode N

Days in the Past 30

Days in the Future 550

Res. Type Single 4

Resource Type Multi 5

Please check if you have the same settings or you have any thing different.

Especially Change transfer Mode N :Change Transfer for Pl.-Vers-Independent Resource and PV 000

check the IMG activity for transferring resources. You can find this IMG activity in the R/3 Implementation Guide under Integration With Other mySAP.com Components -->Advanced Planning and Optimization >Application-Specific Settings and Enhancements> Settings for Resources--> Set the Transfer of Resources to SAP APO.

SPRO setting looks fine.

Can you tell me what exact setting to be checked?
