Hi,

While creating PGI error is,

1-Delivery item is not or only partially packed.

PL solve this issue.

Hi,

In customizing, you specify if each delivery item category is “relevant for packing”. Possible settings are –

a. packing allowed (default)

b. packing not allowed

c. packing mandatory

The system updates the packing status for each item in the outbound delivery, for example – partially packed or fully packed.

The packing function is available in following documents –

a. Sales Orders (as packing proposals)

b. Inbound and Outbound deliveries

c. Shipment document.

Hi Raj,

you might be activated 'Packing Relevence' field in the Delivery Item category functionalities. you might be specified here 'must be packed' option. if you specify this value, you must be packed the item with packing item before doing PGI. Now if you want to pack the item, Go to VL02N/VL01N - select EDIT in the Menu bar - select PACK. you can do here packing. But you should do customizing settings to do this process.

If you donn't want to pack this item, deactivate the field 'Packing Relevence' in the delivery item category functionalities(0VLP) by specifing 'Blank'. Now you check by creating sales order and delivery .

u need to "Pack" the mat.

In ur delivery screen enter the material

then goto Edit - Pack.
