RFC to Webservice question

We are trying to do exercise 5 from TBIT44.

This is a Z RFC call to a remote bapi pulled in to XI with WSDL. We have set up everything but we are getting the following short dump on the sender box.

call to messaging system failed com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Alistair,

There may be some issue with the URL being used to call XI.

Thanks to all for your suggestions. I have solved the problem! The pipeline URL port for the XI server in the SLD was erroneously set to 50000 instead of 8000.

Everything now works.

No .. we have everything configured correctly.. perhaps the webservice is not quite right. The URL points to

http://<host>:50080/sap/bc/soap/rfc/sap/BAPI_USER_GET_DETAIL

and the SOAP service is active, but I dont see anything called "sap" under rfc and we cannot seem to test the rfc. (Right click - Test)
