Deleting /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in after stack has been successfully applied

My /usr/sap/trans is filling up and after applying 3 stacks successfully, the /EPS/in is the culprit.

Can I remove all of these /EPS/in/ files without any issues or are they required to check status/history etc etc.

Thanks

Hi

Instead of removing them, you can move them to another location temporarily. Though after successfully applying them, it's not need, unless you require them for other SAP Instances sharing the same location.

By the way is this the JAVA stack you applying ? You have a workaround for this......let me know.

Cheers

Extract them, print out the source code and file it

Once you have applied Service Packs to your production system there is little need to keep them around. Note that you can always download them again if needed.

Hope that helps.
