For Oracle 10g you need to use Brtools 7.00 download from service.sap.com.
Go to service.sap.com/swdc -->
Support Packages and Patches -->" SAP NetWeaver"
-->SAP NETWEAVER" --> SAP NETWEAVER 7.0" -->Entry by Component" --> Application Server ABAP
Choose your Kernel (for example SAP KERNEL 7.00 32-BIT) --> Windows Server on IA32 32bit (as i know you use the windows.) --> Oracle --> and download the DBATL700O10_32-20000963.SAR "DBATOOLS Package for Oracle 10g"
Regards. Award if helpful.

Hi,
Check if you are able to connect using R3trans and tp....
If you are able to connect using these then the problem lies with brtools...
give a brconnect check command to see if you can check the connection using brconnect...
If you get an error then download the latest and proper dbatools.sar files and uncar it and save them in the kernel.
Regards,
Suhas
