Automatic Replenishment

We are a part of Pantaloon Food Products India Ltd.Our business model is as follows:

We have a central DC which is mapped in the system as a site.We are then having operating stores (KBFP Stores), which are again mapped in the system as a site.

We are despatching finished goods from Central DC to KBFP stores thru STO, OBD & PGI route.Our business now wants to have the Auto replenishment system activated at KBFP stores level.This means whenever stock gets below a certain level, an automatic STO shall be generated in the system.

Can any one suggest how to configure the same.

Hi

There is a field in Material Master - Reorder Point Level. If we specify a value here, if the stock falls below the specified quantity in that plant, automatically it triggeres creation of Production order or Purchase order. This is only a vague idea and I'm not sure about this concept. This is just to give you a clue.
