RSCOLL00 --- getting failed.

Hi All,

We are getting a dump error while running the standard background job RSCOLL00 ,which is used for the DB perfomance collector (ST03).

Till the last shutdown it was working fine.We had a Complete Offline full DB backup on last weeked and after the restart this job is getting failed with the error code as "IMPORT_UNEXPECTED_END_OF_DATA".All the other housekeeping background jobs are running fine.

We are running on SAP 3.1H,Oracle 7.2 and SunSolaris 5.6

Waiting for your reviews..

Regards,

Arun

Error analysis

The dataset could not be imported because it was in an unexpected

format. This is usually because the dataset

has been destroyed as a result of directly manipulating

the IMPORT/EXPORT data by other means (such as

explicitly deleting parts of the dataset with SQL commands instead of

using DELETE FROM DATABASE, ...).

End of dataset was reached, although object components remained to be

imported. The dataset was probably truncated, i.e.

records were deleted from the export table.

Hai,

Check whether the file systems(\usr\sap\<SID>) has enough space or not. And also check the saposcol is in running state or not. Or else possibly, stop the SAP instance once and do the database shutdown manually and try to start SAP and then check the JOB status.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Venkata Nooney,

Thanks for your reply. There is enough space in \usr\sap\<SID>.

Also saposcol is in running state.

I am waiting for the downtime.Hoping it will be ok after the restart.

Keep you updated and reward points .

Thanks ,

Arun
