Web browser problem during running application from NWDS

Hi Friends,

Firefox and Internet Explorer browser was installed in my machine.

Previously When I run my application it opened in Fire Fox browser automatically.

I have uninstalled Firefox now when I am running my application it is not opening in internet explorer it is showing a dialogue with message.

<b>http://host:port/webdynpro/dispatcher/ibm.com/excelwd/ExcelApp?SAtestId=4

Application not found </b>

I have uninstalled NWDS and then reinstall till the problem persists.

How can I run my application automatically in internet explorer?

Hi Mithu,

I think u made the firefox as ur default browser & then u uninstalled it but its still searching for that.Set IE as ur default browser. in IE , tools->Internet Options->programs. at the end u will get a check box to set it as default browser. hope this will solve the problem.

While installing the IE it is going to prompt to make mozilla as the default browser so you have to make it 'Yes'.so uninstall the mozilla and reinstall and specify the above one.

A tool->Internet Options->programs is not working.

I am not getting General->Web Browser under window->Preferences.

There is no Web Browser option.

I am using NWDS SP13.

Hi

right click on IE>properties>programs-->

check the checkbox IE is the default browser

Instead of checking IE as is the default browser

Once I click on <b>Reset Web Settings</b> button its working fine.

Hi,

You can set your browser from NWDS

Window->Preferences->General->Web Browser->

Select IE and make it as the default.
