Daily business report to top management

Hi all

We are running Enterprise portal 7.0 in our environment with no BI repoting.

Our requirement is as follows:

Currently the managers post their daily business reports on Excel; the problme in it is that everyone creates the report with his own idea with no standard format set for it. The top management wants the daily reports from managers in different factories (Procuement Managers, Sales Managers, etc) to be posted to them directly through portal AND in consolidated format, with standard formats for all reports from different managers.

I have an idea of implementing this report through ALV reports and create a Transaction iView for it and assign that iView to the top management role.

Expert suggestions are required to achieve this and to see if this is a correct one.

Handsome points will be awarded based on the criticality of the issue and time.

Hi,

You are going in the right direction.

What you have to do is..according to the different managers you have to create a iview which takes the screen field parameter and matches it with the parameter of the ALV report....

and then you can create users for them...and assign the roles to them.

Thanks for your repsonse.

So do you have any template iView for the screen parameters fetch or will the template Transaction iView will do the job for me?
