i am getting the below error in R/3 Upgrade:

ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

In most cases, the user receiving this error lacks a privilege to create an object (such as a table, view, procedure and the like). Grant the required privilege like so:

grant create table to user_lacking_privilege;

To add a user to the ora_dba group on Windows, net localgroup should help:

Startup

If someone receives this error while trying to startup the instance, the logged on user must belong to the ora_dba group on Windows. To add a user to the ora_dba group on Windows, net localgroup should help:

C:\> net localgroup ora_dba rene /add

Keep repeating this phase until the are errors are not minimised further. "failed DROP attempt is not necessarily a problem", and maybe you can ignore and continue the next phase. (check out)

hi,

when i am trying to create the views i am getting an error called "view or table doesnot exist"

this is Windows - ora<sid> is not existing and even on Unix this command will not work because there is on table ops$ora<sid>.repoload.

d010linf belongs to the installation and has to be created by r3load during the installation.

Please carefully check your database load logfiles for errors and fix them.

Please no manual manipulation of this kind of quality.
